Training Camps & Individualized Programs

Bringing the Knowledge and Experience

bulletBy joining forces with the SSSAA, families of area athletes can tap into the knowledge and experience of former high school standouts, collegiate athletes, and former professional athletes.  This knowledge is passed on to give our young athletes the competitive edge they need in sports and in life.

Chris Ward runs a drill for a young athlete at a camp.

Steve Matychowiak teaches proper technique during one-on-one time.

Eric Webster - Youth Mentor

Eric "Lucky" Webster has donated over 8,000 hours to the Boys & Girls Clubs as well as numerous hours with the South Sound Shockers assisting with training camps, mentoring, and speaking at schools.  A business owner , lifelong athlete, and father, Eric is hands-down one of the most giving individuals in the Shocker organization.  Recognized with numerous awards for his work with kids, Eric is also a captain of the Shockers semi-pro football team.

bulletThe South Sound Shockers Athletic Association uses privately donated funds and equipment to operate it's camps and individual training sessions.  No public funds or tax dollars are solicited for use in any of our programs.
