Strength & Power
Explosion and Endurance
Explosive
power is the ability to force a given weight quickly and with high
velocity. Muscular endurance is created when using a set
weight and moving it for multiple repetitions.

Youth strength training has specific considerations to keep in
mind. Growth. Children are constantly growing and damage
to growth plates can occur if weight training is not done properly.
Strict supervision and monitoring of the use of ANY weights above
body weight should be employed when working with kids.
Key
indicators of strength and power: cleans, bench press, squat
